Alabama Coastal Kids Quiz
This fun online program is open to every 5th grade teacher--public or private--in the state to help their students learn about Alabama's precious coastal environment. Coastal Kids Quiz opens in the fall of each school year, and participating teachers have several opportunities to receive $100 in support of classroom instruction! The following is the schedule for the 2023-2024 academic calendar:
Teachers must register (see below) individually, and those who meet the minimum 80% participation requirement are eligible to receive $100 for each topic. Drawings for the winners are done randomly and are announced on the dates listed above.
As in the past, the Alabama Coastal Kids Quiz has the purpose of encouraging 5th grade students to deeply learn—in a fun way—about various topics related to Alabama's precious coastal environment. ACF provides trusted resources and financial incentives to encourage learning. This online format also:

Allows more public/private school teachers and students throughout the state to gain that knowledge;

Provides more flexibility for teachers and students to participate each school year by offering five topic specific quiz opportunities; and,

Offers more ways for teachers to receive much needed funding to support education efforts in the classroom.
