Through our education programs, Alabama Coastal Foundation connects students in order to inform and inspire future generations of leaders.

Educ​​​​​​​​​​ation is the key to ensuring responsible decision making by community leaders and elected officials. The Alabama Coastal Foundation is committed to providing accurate, high quality, science-base​​​​​​​​​​d information to citizens and students of all ages.

By tailoring education programs for all levels (K-12) we are able to engage a broad ra​​​​​​​​​​nge of students.  This provides a foundation in early years that can be built upon through hands-on involvement in later yea​​​​​​​​​​rs.

Additionally, we seek to educate the community through an expansive array of special projects, workshops, and trainings designed to cultivate awareness of human impact on the coastal environment. These programs empower individuals of all ages to design and implement tangible solutions to environmental concerns throughout our region.
