Our coastal ecosystem is the fourth largest estuary in the United States.  It plays a critical role in nurturing the species that are vital to both our economy and our coastal way of life.​

The Alabama Coastal Foundation believes in maximizing resources for greater impact and sustainability. There are many different groups in the non-profit, private, commercial, and governmental sectors that actively work for a better environment in which to live. ​

To effectively achieve our common goal of maintaining healthy coastal resources, we have dedicated our efforts to promote and participate in all endeavors put forth both within and beyond our organization. ​​
