2026 Sustainability Summit

The Twelfth Annual Sustainability Summit will take place at The Lodge at Gulf State Park (21196 East Beach Boulevard, Gulf Shores, AL 36542) from 9:00am-3:30pm on Friday, January 30, 2026.

The Alabama Coastal Foundation (ACF) is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization with the mission to improve and protect Alabama's coastal environment through cooperation, education, and participation. Each year, ACF convenes a Sustainability Summit to encourage people in the private, public, and social sectors to understand the economic and environmental benefits of using sustainable practices. 2026 Sustainability Summit Call for Presentations: ACF is seeking Summit presentations that support the theme Doing More with Less: Simple actions every person, business, nonprofit, school, and governmental agency can implement to save money and help the environment. All presentations should include 1-3 actionable items that exhibit planning strategies across communities, businesses, educational institutions, or any other groups across public, private, or local sectors. Preference will be given to presentations that feature local or regional initiatives, research, and projects.
