The Alabama Coastal Foundation (ACF) is a non-partisan, nonprofit organization with the mission to improve and protect Alabama's coastal environment through cooperation, education, and participation. Each year, ACF convenes a Sustainability Summit to encourage people in the private, public, and social sectors to understand the economic and environmental benefits of using sustainable practices.

Call for Presentations
We are seeking Summit presentations that support the theme Building a Stronger Tomorrow: Improving, restoring, and protecting Alabama’s environment. All presentations should include 1-3 actionable items that exhibit planning strategies across communities, businesses, educational institutions, or any other groups across public, private, or local sectors. Preference will be given to presentations that feature local or regional initiatives, research, and projects.

Process
To submit your proposal to present during this professional development opportunity, please click 2027 Sustainability Summit CFP. After completing the application, you will receive a confirmation email containing a link to submit your proposal information. All presenters will receive complimentary registrations and discounted hotel rates.

 

Timeline

• Proposal Submission Deadline: Thursday, February 18 by midnight.

• Decision Notification: Thursday, February 25 by 5:00pm.
